It’s Christmas season, our dragons have put on their winter coats and we are slowly preparing our game for the January beta. To end 2020 on a high note, we just published our first Dev Diary recorded in the Playwing studio in Bordeaux.

Welcome to Playwing!

We are a young studio and while our team includes many industry veterans, you certainly don’t know us. To help you better understand who the people behind Century: Age of Ashes are, we have made this first Dev Diary starring Pascal and Emmanuel. They are the fathers of the game and the heads of the development team that has been working on the project for a little over two years.

In addition to showing you our studio, this video is here to explain the origin of the project and the goals of the whole team. What are the ambitions behind this project? What are the influences of the developers? What content will be available at launch? You will find answers to all these questions and new gameplay clips in our first Dev Diary!

2020 has been a tough year and we wish you a happy holiday season! We ourselves will put our dragons away for a few days in order to prepare for January. Next month we will be opening the doors to the Closed Beta — an important moment for the whole team, as this is the first time we will let the public play our game!

Once again, we will do our best to satisfy all players who have requested access, but this will have to be done little by little to avoid technical problems.
